Ag-Grid Energy has partnered with Western Organic Family Farms, a co-op of organic dairy families, to help them start the process of going carbon neutral. We have set out with the goal of constructing a community anaerobic digester, which will process manure and food waste, thereby reducing methane emitted to the atmosphere, diverting food waste away from harmful landfills, and providing renewable gas/electricity to the farms and local community. In the future we are looking to expand the community digester to take care of local issues created from food waste and also take on more waste from other local farms.
